Michigan Ave. and Tunnel Yard's new Bridge

Tunnel Yard and the Tappan interlocking have changed more this year than since the railroads pulled much of the crossing out from years ago. But go figure, rail traffic is down, delays are less, and now they build the multimillion dollar bridge...  now property values will go up, and infrastructure is new and that opens the door to more traffic by road to spur development of the vacant woods and land around the railroad.

 Looking north at the bridge.
Looking south from Griswold Rd.
Looking west on the Flint Subdivision, Tappan interlocking, and the Mt. Clemens Sub curving to the left. This line goes to Detroit's once grand Arsenal of Democracy.
The view east again looking at PH&D's former Tappan Yard right, center is the CSX (C&O) interchange tracks, and the far left is the GTW (CN) Tunnel Yard. CSX now owns PH&Ds former trackage all the way to DTE's Belle River power plant.
