October Surprise, a Great Lakes Storm

Respect the weather. Something everyone should take heed in what ever they do in life. Hurricane Sandy was a case in point.Though no hurricane made any direct hit to Michigan, the Lake Huron waters were all thrown up in a fury from the wide scale impact of this large storm system.  I photographed the storm's rage on the eastern coast of Michigan's Thumb region. These photos were taken at Port Sanilac, MI and one from north of Forester, MI

This seawall / breakwater was about 10feet hight from waterline to the top of the steel. You can use that to gage the height of the waves / spray... 40' and more high.
